My 514 makes 825 hp at 12.2:1 compression with a small roller cam. That is really good power for a fairly inexpensive head that uses a lot of stock valve train parts. Web26 aug. 2005 · I just got some CNC E heads from Modern Cylinder. I need a head that flows good with a small port. Comparing the E heads 240cc fully ported intake port to the Indy SR or EZ that is 295 fully ported won't work. The 440-1 is around 325cc. You need a big engine for the big ports. All depends how high you want to rev and how much TQ you want.

I have a low deck 470 pump gas engine (10.5 compression) that is making 700 hp with those heads. So with a solid roller cam, decent intake and headers your friend should be able to do the same.
