WebMALDI-TOF MS is one of the major methods for clinical fungal identification, but it is currently only suitable for pure cultures of isolated strains. However, multiple fungal coinfections might occur in clinical practice. Some fungi involved in coinfection, such as Candida krusei and Candida auris, are intrinsically resistant to certain drugs. WebAfter 1D SDS-PAGE, protein bands were assayed with UV-MALDI-MS to characterize differentially expressed proteins between the LUH and RUH in pregnant and non-pregnant animals. A search of the 12 selected protein bands against the MASCOT database yielded eight positive identifications, five of them with statistically significant scores.
