It’s barely studied in medical school, despite perimenopause and menopause affecting all women from their 40s on (and some much younger). Women are recounting many negative experiences with GPs. WebThere are currently 571,000 menopausal women in Ireland and 350,000 of those are in paid employment. That’s an awful lot of women, going through an awful lot of physical, psychological and emotional symptoms, without asking for help.
